GermanyxReader: Hot and Cold

It was hothothothothothothothotHOT!!!

"Ludwiiiiiiig, it's freaking October and 81 degrees with the sun still out!" You complain drowsily, slapping Ludwig's book cover, pushing it into his face.

Like, literally. His book cover. Ludwig was an illustrator, and, currently, he was using you to model for a book cover. But, whining about the heat and messing with him wasn't the greatest help.

"____, it's not that much to ask of you to simply sit there while I get this down!" He retorts.

You exhale sharply, slouching down.

"Up," he scolds.

You straighten yourself out and continue to rant as a breeze settles through the shaky leaves. "I mean, why is it called Fall in October if it's still, like, summer outside? Is the world already heating up this much? ....Ludwig, are we gonna die?"

"The short period of time when its Autumn but as hot as summer is called 'Indian Summer'. It happens," He mumbles, and his vivid blue eyes look up. He gestures for you to turn around.

You do so and sigh heavily, the sun now blazing upon your spine.

"Up."

You frown. "Well, if it's still summer then I don't need to  dress like it's 60 or less degrees out," You say and remove your pants. Satisfied, you sigh and stretch out your legs, toes curling.

"_-____!!" Ludwig protests.

"Relax, it's fine, I'm wearing boxers."

"Since when do you wear boxers?" He asks and arcs an eyebrow.

You grin sheepishly and admit,"You always wear them to bed and I thought they looked cool."

"U-Um..."

"Don't worry, I won't be wearing them all the time. Just on around-the-house days," You explain and regain your straight posture, nodding toward the page.

Ludwig's pink face gets pinker and he looks back down, furiously trying to let go of his recent thoughts.

Unable to, he sighs and drops his supplies. "I can't do anymore today, lets head inside."

You shiver beneath the blanket as Ludwig returns with two mugs full of tea.

"Too cold, too hot, make up your mind," Ludwig sighs and settles down.

You nuzzle up to his side and say,"I definitely like cold better."

Ludwig chuckles deep in his throat. You smile and hand him the remote, he hands you your tea.

"I think I heard green tea lowers your risk of cancer by 15%," You say thoughtfully.

"Makes sense, it does other things, too." Ludwig wraps an arm around your shoulders and you relax your eyes.

"We do a lot, too," You echo.

"I do a lot,"Ludwig murmurs.

"Yeah?" You say just as softly.

"Yep."

He kisses your forehead gently. And then your lips, just a slight pressing, and then gives you a real, tender kiss.

"Like that."
